Fire resistance

There are several factors to be considered when dicussing fire resistance of coatings. There is the ease with which the coating will catch fire, the speed of spread of flame, and the nature and toxicity of any fume produced. The testing instigated by London Underground after the Kings Cross Fire set benchmarks which have been adopted worldwide. Our Nylon R-AG System, in addition to its outstanding wear and impact resistance, has been tested and approved by London Underground for use both in fixed locations and on rolling stock where the requirements are more stringent. Clearly this is a complicated issue so please contact our technical department for advice.
