Fluoropolymer coating

One of a wide range of coatings based incorporating fluorine in the binder. Available in powder and liquid coatings. Typical applications include non-stick, low friction, corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, UV resistance, chemical resistance or release. Coatings are formulated to optimise one or more of these properties. Therefore the best non-stick coating will, for instance, probably not have the best temperature resistance. Polymers used include PTFE, PFA, FEP, ETFCE, ETFE. Trade names include Teflon, Xylan, Kynar, Dykor, Xylar, Halar, Duranar, Lumiflon, Emralon
